EOIN COLFER

Eoin (spreek uit: Owen) Colfer (Wexford, Ierland, 1958) werd beroemd met zijn serie over de kind-misdadiger Artemis Fowl, een ventje dat alles kan, vooral op computergebied. In zijn Artemis Fowl-serie benadrukt hij vaak het belang van goed omgaan met het milieu. Colfer kreeg heel veel prijzen voor ‘Artemis Fowl’. Behalve deze serie schreef hij nog een groot aantal andere boeken.
