JOHN BOYNE

John Boyne is een Ierse schrijver. Hij werd geboren in Dublin, Ierland, in 1971. Hij heeft romans geschreven voor volwassenen en voor young adults. Zijn grote succes kwam met de publicatie van The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. Het was een jongerenboek (kinderboek) dat veel lezers schokte, maar dat ook veel begrip gaf voor kinderen in een oorlogssituatie. Het boek werd succesvol verfilmd.
