LOUIS DE BERNIÈRES
Louis de Bernières is een Britse schrijver van romans voor volwassenen en voor young adults, van poëzie en korte verhalen en van non-fictie. Hij werd in 1954 in Londen geboren.
Hoewel hij een Engelse schrijver is, woonde hij over de hele wereld. Mr De Bernières had allerlei baantjes in veel landen: zo werkte hij onder andere als monteur en als cowboy in Argentinië en in Columbia.
Met zijn boeken won hij meerdere prijzen.
