JENNY NIMMO

Jenny Nimmo (Windsor, Engeland, 1944) is een Britse schrijfster van kinderboeken en boeken voor jong volwassenen. Ze woont het grootste deel van haar leven al in Wales, waar de meeste van haar verhalen zich ook afspelen. Ze won meerdere prijzen met haar fantasy-series The Magician Trilogy en met ‘Children of the Red King’.
Ms Nimmo werkte voor een theater en later voor de BBC. Tijdens dat werk kreeg ze inspiratie om verhalen te schrijven. Veel van haar (kinder)verhalen zijn geïllustreerd door haar man.
