LISA TUTTLE
Lisa Gracia Tuttle (1952) werd in Houston, Texas, geboren. Ze is een schrijfster van romans en van young adult novels. Haar genres zijn fantasy, horror en science fiction, maar Ms Tuttle schrijft ook non-fictie.
Ms Tuttle groeide op in Texas. Ze studeerde in New York en in New Orleans en werkte na haar studie als journalist in Austin, Texas. In de jaren ’70 van de vorige eeuw werden haar eerste boeken gepubliceerd. Het genre waar ze veel succes mee had was science fiction. Ze schreef een aantal boeken samen met andere auteurs, waaronder de later zeer beroemd geworden George R.R. Martin, de schrijver van de A Song of Fire and Ice-serie (vaak ‘A Game of Thrones’ genoemd – naar het eerste deel uit die serie). Ook schreef Ms Tuttle verschillende boeken onder een pseudoniem.
Ms Lisa Tuttle woonde meerdere malen samen, eerst in New York, later in Londen. Tegenwoordig woont ze met haar tweede man op het platteland van Schotland.
