AVRIL ROWLANDS

De Britse kinder- en jeugdboekenschrijfster Avril Rowlands schrijft met name verhalen (en boeken) die te maken hebben met religie als thema. In totaal schreef ze meer dan veertig boeken, heel vaak in series.
Ms Rowlands werkte voor de BBC voordat ze fulltime ging schrijven. Later ging ze met haar man wonen in een dorpje in The Midlands, waar ze zich bezighoudt met lezen, wandelen, toneel, dichten, kerstzangdiensten organiseren in de plaatselijke kerk en nog veel meer.
