DOUGLAS COUPLAND

Douglas Coupland (Baden-Söllingen, Duitsland, 1961) is een Canadese auteur. Hij schrijft over moderne ontwikkelingen in de technologie (computers) (‘Microserfs’, jPod) en in relaties (Generation X, Generation A) en hij doet dat met een ironische kijk op het leven. Coupland werd beroemd met zijn eerste roman, Generation X. Veel van zijn romans spelen zich af in zijn woonplaats Vancouver in Canada.
Hij is actief op het gebied van literatuur, visuele kunsten en design.
