POUL ANDERSON
De Amerikaanse sciencefictionschrijver Poul Anderson (1926-2001) werd behalve met zijn SF-verhalen en -romans ook bekend met fantasy fiction en met historische werken. Daarnaast schreef hij veel korte verhalen.
Poul Anderson werd in 1926 in Bristol, Pennsylvania, geboren als kind van Scandinavische ouders. De familie verhuisde naar Denemarken en later naar de staat Minnesota. Daar studeerde Mr. Anderson af en begon hij freelance verhalen te schrijven. Later verhuisde hij met zijn gezin naar Californië, waar hij in 2001 zou overlijden.
