THERESA BRESLIN

De Schotse schrijfster Theresa Breslin werd in 1947 in het stadje Kirkintilloch (ten noorden van Glasgow) geboren. Ze schrijft heel veel verschillende genres en ze is een succesvolle auteur; een aantal van haar romans is vertaald of bewerkt tot TV-series of films. Voor haar werk werd ze meerdere malen onderscheiden, met name in Schotland.
Hoewel ze ook voor volwassenen schrijft (thrillers, historische werken) is ze vooral bekend geworden als schrijfster van young adult novels.
